Before you arrive

There are a quarter of a million expatriates in Bahrain, so we are used to people moving in.

Many nationalities can get a visitor’s visa on arrival. Alternatively, you can apply online at the government website.  After you arrive, you can expect to be issued with a resident’s visa through your employer in a matter of weeks, along with a Central Population Registry (CPR) card.

For help and advice, it is well worth learning from the experience of expatriates who already know the ropes. Visit this blog for some expatriate views.
