Bahrain goes up in the world for expats

Yet again, the HSBC Expat Explorer Survey shows that expats love living in Bahrain. In this prestigious survey of nearly 22,000 expats around the world, Bahrain performed strongly in many of the report’s detailed findings and climbed to fourth place among 39 countries, one slot higher than last year, with Singapore, New Zealand and Sweden taking the first three places.
The report specifically singles out Bahrain’s ‘smooth transition and warm welcome’. Indeed, nearly half (47%) of expats say Bahrain felt like home within six months (compared to the 31% global average). In addition, nearly two-thirds (65%) of expat parents confirm that Bahrain offers a better quality of life for children.
It’s easy to understand why. As you will discover from this video, it’s the openness of the Bahraini people, our long heritage, excellent education and healthcare, and great choice of activities, that make the difference.
