Going Fast: F1™ Ticket Sales Break All Records

If you want to be at this year’s Formula 1™ Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, you had better hurry.

Boosted by an ‘Early Bird’ promotion that offered up to 20% off certain tickets, sales are at an all-time high. Right now, the Bahrain International Circuit’s 10,500-seat Main Grandstand is half sold out.

It’s little wonder. Following last year’s ground-breaking tenth anniversary Grand Prix weekend, which attracted around 85,000 visitors, the 2015 event will again be the Middle East’s only desert night race held under floodlights. More than that, it promises to be Bahrain’s biggest event of the year.

A fantastic build-up

With fewer than 11 days to go, excitement is clearly growing, revealing just how closely Bahrain has taken motorsport to its heart.

‘Light up your nights’ has been announced as the Grand Prix weekend’s evocative theme, while BIC has launched ‘Race Fever’ a nationwide celebration of motorsport. This starts with a tour round the island showcasing three Jaguar cards, a raffle for Grand Prix ticket-holders to win a new Jaguar F-Type, a Red Bull extreme motorbike show, and concludes with two live music performances.
So much to enjoy

There’s a huge programme of events over the Grand Prix weekend – just in case some members of the family don’t want to watch the racing. Check out the BIC website for details.
The 2015 Formula 1TM Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix takes place April 17th -19th at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), Sakhir.
Held over 57 laps, starting under the stars at 6 pm, it’s the fourth of 20 rounds of this year’s FIA Formula 1TM World Championship.
