YRfree Technologies Appoint New Partner in the GCC

YRfree Technologies, a World leader in mobile video streaming technology, have appointed Mantech Computer Services, Bahrain, as their Distribution Partner for the GCC region.

Mantech, the longest established computer company in Bahrain, has an enviable client list across several governmental and commercial sectors, offering IT hardware and software solutions as well as physical security solutions. This makes them unique in being able to approach clients with knowledge and expertise in both areas that YRFree operate in.

John Ridd, CEO and Founder of YRfree Technologies said "Following a recent trip to Bahrain, hosted by the Bahrain Economic Development Board, we recognised the enormous potential of the region. Bahrain is a hub for science and innovation and the GCC is home to a wide range of forward looking companies, who have the funds available to invest in the latest technology. We were familiar with Mantech, through their association with Sci-Tech Daresbury. Their service orientated culture and pro-active approach to sales were just what we were looking for in a business partner".

Paul Abley YRfree's Business Development Manager (EMEA) said “The YRfree Mobile Platform is unique. It can deliver tangible business benefits to any organisation with a remote or mobile workforce. The Live View facility enables personnel in the field, office based managers and third party "experts", to collaborate in real time, by giving them simultaneous access to live images and project documentation. There is potentially a huge global demand for a technology which combines the convenience of the mobile phone with the accessibility of the internet and delivers “Smart Data” in a secure and manageable way".

Hassan Kaiksow, Managing Director at Mantech said "We are always on the lookout for 'Hot New Developments'. The YRfree Platform complements our existing portfolio and, in particular, provides the opportunity to add significant functionality to some of our existing security solutions. I confidently expect sales to top $100,000 in the first year".

Kamal bin Ahmed, Minister of Transportation and Acting Chief of Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), said: “The Government of Bahrain has invested in the Kingdom’s IT infrastructure, which has resulted in the Middle East’s most liberal and advanced ICT market. We are therefore delighted for the role EDB played in initiating this partnership, which will lead to further innovation and competition in the sector, as well as increased sales and growth across the Gulf region.”

YRfree Technologies Limited is based at Sci-Tech Daresbury, one of the UK's leading centres for technology, which is already home to more than 110 hi-tech companies. Since becoming an Enterprise Zone a £600m expansion plan has been put in place which will provide up to 1m sq. ft. of scientific facilities and create up to 15,000 jobs.
