Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre is hosting a unique beginner-friendly workshop dedicated to the art of Al Naqda embroidery. This traditional craft holds deep-rooted significance in Bahraini heritage, originating from the practice of hand embroidery on women’s attire using a special needle known as “Al Naqda.”
The workshop aims to teach the participants this folk art and integrate them into Bahrain’s local industries market through the “Made in Bahrain” project by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
