A Leading Environmental Landmark for Wildlife Protection

Mohammed bin Zayed Natural Reserve is a significant sanctuary in Bahrain and one of the Kingdom’s most prominent national environmental landmarks, dedicated to the protection and conservation of biodiversity. The reserve that has welcomed visitors since 1976 forms part of national efforts to safeguard endangered species, most notably the Bahraini Reem and the Arabian Oryx. Since its establishment as Al Areen Wildlife Park and Reserve, it has embraced a clear and enduring mission to protect, breed, and develop plant and animal life, particularly endangered species, by providing safe and sustainable natural habitats.
