Al Riwaq Art Space presents Residual Spaces, a contemporary art exhibition.
The exhibition features the work of seven Bahraini artists who were part of the Application 006 art residency programme: Ghalia Abdul Jawad, Mahmood Alsharqawi (Huvil), Maram Al Suliman, Mariam Al Noaimi, Sarah Redha, Samar Aleskafi and Yusuf Qambar.
Serving as a space for reflection, the exhibition invites audiences to consider what remains after an experience and how the traces of memory, emotion and social interactions continue to shape our understanding of ourselves and the spaces we inhabit. The works range from installations to minimalist interventions, abstract compositions and theatrical environments, each rooted in personal inquiry and emotional resonance.
