His Majesty the King’s Cup Festival, is held under the gracious patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain.
This distinguished two-day festival, taking place on 5 & 6 March, 2026, during the blessed month of Ramadan, will showcase exceptional races and elite international competitions. These include His Majesty the King’s Cup for Imported Horses – Group 3, covering a distance of 2,400 meters with a total prize of USD 400,000, and Al Mithaq Mile for Imported Horses – Listed, with a total prize of USD 120,000. The festival will also host the Bahrain Turf Series finale, featuring two prestigious races, Al Fateh Cup and The International Handicap, each offering prize money of USD 100,000.
In the authentic spirit of Ramadan and rich cultural traditions, the festival offers refined hospitality, diverse entertainment for visitors at the vibrant Turf Village, and a Best Dressed competition with valuable prizes for the winners.
The Bahrain Turf Club racing season, running every weekend from 31 October 2025 to 17 April 2026, features 29 racedays, with each day hosting up to 10 races.
