Bahrain is preparing for a vibrant kaleidoscope of collective memory through an immersive, artistic, narrative mesh of experiences mirroring the rhythm of life.
The 10th edition of The Nest Festival, titled In the Lapse of Tides, presents a dynamic experience that transcends art.
Hosted at Al Riwaq, the festival’s scenography guides participants through four distinct states, each echoing the rhythm of tides. These phases metaphorically reveal, erase, and reclaim memory.
Dr. Effat Abdullah Fadag, a Jeddah-based artist, curator, and Associate Professor, plays a key role in shaping the festival. With academic credentials from King Abdulaziz University and the University of Kent, Dr. Fadag has been a prominent figure in Saudi Arabia’s contemporary art scene. Her curatorial work spans prestigious institutions such as KAUST, the Saudi Art Council, Misk Art Institute, and the Royal Commission for AlUla.
Flow with the Lapse of Tides to connect with a vivid context of art, memory, and environment.
