What to Expect

The water taxi service is designed to create an experience worth remembering, all while adhering to the latest maritime safety requirements and regulations.

As you board, a well-trained and detail-oriented crew will warmly greet you and escort you to your seating within a stylish and comfortable cabin. Here, you'll be met with the sparkling blue views that surround you through large, panoramic glass windows. Enjoy refreshing summer drinks as you take in the breathtaking 360-degree scenery.

The water taxis can comfortably transport up to 28 passengers: 20 in standard seating and eight in exclusive VIP seats. These VIP arrangements feature a face-to-face setup, complete with soft pillows for added comfort and a small table for your convenience.

The Designated Stops

The water taxi stops at predetermined stations along its route from Muharraq to Manama and back, allowing passengers to easily plan their trips to see various tourist attractions or just avoid the peak drive time rush. The route includes the following stops* (There could be amendments to this list in the future).

  • Manama East Coast (Corniche): This is the taxi's originating point, though you're welcome to board from any stop that suits your journey. You'll find it conveniently located in Juffair, right by the Marina beach area, adjacent to the Coral Bay Resort and Dolphin Park.
  • Sa’ada Marina, Muharraq: This stop at Sa’ada Marina, offers a fantastic destination for dining and shopping, with an array of cafés and restaurants to explore. From here, you'll be treated to stunning views of the iconic King Hamad Bridge, and is also a convenient gateway to Muharraq, a treasure trove of Bahrain's historical and cultural landmarks, including the renowned Pearling Path, and an opportunity to delve into the traditional market at Souq Al Qaisariya.
  • The Avenues Bahrain: A luxury shopping and entertainment destination and a major landmark on a 1.5-kilometer waterfront along Bahrain Bay, the Avenues offers a diverse range of dining, shopping, and leisure options. How to Book Your Trip

The water taxi operates daily, from Sunday to Thursday, starting at 2:30 PM to 9:45 PM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 12 PM to midnight. You can book your trip via the Masar app, available on the Apple and Google Play stores.

Ticket options:

  • BHD 0.8 - Regular ticket, per stop.
  • BHD 1.5 - VIP ticket, per stop.
  • BHD 2.5 - Regular ticket for a full day.
  • BHD 5 - VIP ticket for a full day.
