“Waqt Al Rabee’ Wal Ward” Festival at Souq Al Baraha is offering visitors a month-long cultural and artistic experience that celebrates joy, beauty, and the authentic Bahraini identity.
The souq will be adorned with roses and décor inspired by local heritage, welcoming guests from all around the world. Visitors can enjoy daily activities that include Bahraini and Gulf musical performances, family-friendly entertainment, and creative workshops for children. The festival also features stalls showcasing small business products, local food and beverages, as well as photo spots created to give visitors the perfect backdrop for memorable photos.
This year’s festival carries a special significance as it honours a distinguished national figure, the late Sheikh Isa Bin Rashid Al Khalifa, one of Bahrain’s most celebrated icons in culture, art, and sport. His rich contributions across poetry, music, media, and athletics continue to inspire generations, and Souq Al Baraha draws upon his legacy to keep his influence alive in the nation’s collective memory.
The “Waqt Al Rabee’ Wal Ward” festival is an embodiment of Bahrain’s ever-renewing spirit, where visitors come together to share moments filled with art, literature, and history.
